is the Sunday worship
service of Vineyard Amsterdam.
In de Rode Hoed
Keizersgracht 102, Amsterdam
We start with about 10 minutes of worship, which is followed by a short welcome and some announcements. There is then a talk based around both the bible and our experiences of following Jesus that is both practical and relevant to everyday life. After the talk there is more worship & time for anyone that would like personal prayer to be prayed for.
Children are important part of our worship together. Families are invited to join the all church worship at 11am in the main hall. After the worship time, before the announcements, the leaders will be waiting to meet the children and their parents/guardians in the back of the hall and show them to their rooms. Each Sunday we run a number of programmes for babies, children and pre-teens/teens.
Once a month, we celebrate Communion (one of the central symbols of the Christian Church) together in the service.
After the service, please help yourself to tea, coffee and snacks and feel free to meet others. If this is your first visit, one of our pastors or leaders would love to meet you or to answer any questions you may have. You can find us in the lobby at the infotable.
If you're curious about Jesus and perhaps unfamiliar with the idea of church, you're in good company. Many people who come to VA have never experienced being in a church before. We hope you feel comfortable to come back again and again as you discover more about God and what he means to you. All of our gatherings are very casual. It is our hope that you can come as you are, and feel accepted and welcomed. It’s pretty simple. You can feel free to engage as much or as little as you are comfortable.
Our meetings are bi-lingual, in Dutch and English.
