We are a diverse community of Dutch and international people from all ages coming from all sorts of backgrounds. We love our city and the diversity that it brings - everyone is welcome! We hope to be a place for people to encounter God in a meaningful way and to offer a space for reflection and finding direction. You can ask all your questions, enter into respectful conversations about spirituality and faith, and find a community full of love and welcome. We hope to be an expression of the heart of God to the heart of the city!
We gather together as a community on Sunday at Meeting Point. Here we sing together, welcome new guests, share news from the community, listen to a message on faith and its relevance for our daily lives, offer space to pray, and meet each other over coffee and tea. We welcome children as full members of our community and offer fun programs for kids of all ages. Our gathering is very casual and we put an emphasis on being real with one another as we desire to experience both grace and growth. It is our hope that you can come as your are, and feel accepted and welcomed.
We also gather together during the week in different neighborhoods in the city: north, south, east, west and center. We enjoy being together and doing life together. We want to be connected with each other and also be available for our neighborhoods. In every neighborhood there are connect groups and triads, as well as regular fun activities. You can find more information at the welcome table or on our website or connect with the pastors of each neighborhood.
We hope people will walk up to you and greet you as you come in. However, don’t feel like you have to wait for others to make the first move but feel free to walk up to anyone and simply introduce yourself and tell them that you are visiting for the first time. We introduction evenings, Community Groups, all sorts of ways to explore faith, and several places to grow, serve and give.
Again, a very warm welcome to Vineyard Amsterdam! We are thrilled that you are here, we hope to connect with you and look forward to getting to know you. We hope that you’ll join our adventure as we continue to explore God, learn to do life, and journey toward a new world that is full of flourishing and wholeness, until one day everyone gets to play.
